Sanford Achievement Test (SAT) Results

Understanding the SAT Testing Results:

Students at HCA are given the SAT test in the 4th, 6th and 8th grades. The tables below include the average scores for each grade level in each of the various subject areas tested. Looking at the 2009 results for the subject area "Total Reading" you will see the 4th grade class received a score of 5.5. This means the 4th grade class actually had Total Reading skills of a student in the 5th grade in their 5th month of school. The 6th grade class received a score of 11.4. This means the 6th grade class actually had Total Reading skills of a student in the 11th grade in their 4th month of school.
