Statement of Purpose
The purpose of this organization shall be, in prayerful dependence upon God:
- To establish a fellowship between home and school.
- To encourage and strengthen the parents in fulfilling their God-given responsibility in training of their children in the Lord.
- To provide opportunity for the parents and teachers to meet, and to better understand and coordinate the training of their children in the Lord, both as to the intellectual and the moral or disciplinary phases of their development.
- To provide a channel through which the physical and financial needs of the school can be made known.
To connect people, have fun and support the needs of our families and school.
Membership and Meetings
All parents and teachers are members of the PTF. There are no dues to pay. We invite all parents and teachers to attend and participate in the PTF meetings. Meetings are held several times a year and are listed on the school calendar. As a parent of a Heritage Christian student, each family is required to volunteer ten hours per parent or guardian, per school year. PTF meetings and activities are a great and fun way to get involved in the school community while fulfilling your volunteer hours. Studies consistently support that parent participation ensures a successful school experience for the students.
HCA PTF would also like to encourage parents to bring any ideas they may have forward to make our school year better. We hope to see you at school and our PTF meetings in the CrossPointe Café.
