I can't...but God can
Today was our first regular chapel day, and Mr. Saunders, our Head of School, spoke during both the elementary and secondary chapel sessions. He focused on our theme, emphasizing that there are many accounts in the Bible showcasing how God fights for us. One example he mentioned was how Elijah prayed to God to ignite the soaked altar. The same God who performed that miracle at Mount Carmel has already won every battle for us!
We love providing a recap of chapel so that we can share the Good News and allow families to discuss the message at home. This year, as we adventure together through our theme "God is FOR US," look for the binoculars symbol to find Bible passages you can explore at home to guide your discussions.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
